"It makes me wonder if Orochimaru's creations are intentionally for weapons or a way to build power." To Misa, she sees the sannin as an enigma. She doesn't know whether she should trust him. Sasuke shrugs, "I mean, he did know something much worse was going to happen. I guess he can predict the future." He wouldn't be too surprised by his master's intelligence.
"Onii-chan, will it get better after this?" A sweet and high voice asked the Uchiha.
He was a little hesitant because of the turmoil. Sasuke doesn't want to lose hope just yet. Misa looked at the silent boy, and she waited for him to say something.
As a response, "Yes, it will. However, it takes time, and we need to earn sincerity from others." Sasuke lifted his dark gaze to see Misa's content face.
Shortly enough, she finishes healing the gash. "You're all good now." She tells the innocent child. "Thank you so much, onee-chan, onii-chan." The little girl candidly thanked them. Sasuke had a blank face but was happy on the inside that she was in good condition. "Go and find safety." His love ruffles her head, and she ventures off. Luckily, a Jonin close by took the child to the evacuation shelter.
Misa turns to Sasuke and looks at him. His sensitive heart makes her fall in love with him all over again.
Before she could speak, a strong chakra signature was fading. She knows who it is.
The raven witnessed her jolt in surprise and became worried. "What's wrong?" He asked Misa, putting his hand on the small of her back. Her face expressed terror. "Sensei. Kakashi sensei," Misa said in a shaky voice. Immediately, Sasuke knew it was up to no good because he felt his heart drop. Without any second thoughts, they started looking for him.
Everything feels numb. The man grew out of the tragedy at a young age because he understood that he had to move onβleaving all of it behind him and reliving joy.
Kakashi's visible gaze was staring at the sky. He starts to see beloved faces that made his life. Suddenly, he picks up the sound of voices calling out his name. The man groans when he moves his neck to look forward and notices two of his students.

The copy-nin saw their distraught faces as they kept sprinting in his direction. "Sasuke, Misa," Kakashi said weakly. Misa doesn't waste time destroying the concrete that is suffocating her mentor. Hit after hit, she tries freeing him with fury running through her veins. Both Kakashi and Sasuke have never seen Misa this angry.
"Ahh!" The girl lets a roar and slams her fist.
The concrete turned into pieces from the solid punches. Sasuke pulls his sensei from the pit and lays his body facing upward. Misa began healing him even though his pulse was slowing down. "It's okay, Misa-chan. You don't need to waste your energy." Kakashi tries to convince her.
She could feel tears falling, "No! You're not leaving us, sensei!" Her sobs grew louder as she delivered chakra onto his crippled form. Sasuke could feel his anxiety rising, "You'll make it, Kakashi. We know that you are strong and will stay." He gave out words of encouragement.
"I like the sound of that. If I didn't teach you guys teamwork and the true meaning of a shinobi, I would've been a terrible sensei." Kakashi chuckles dryly. He moves his head to take a look at his students.
"I dreamt that someday I would find the right team. But not just any other, a family that I never knew I needed. Also, please tell Hanare to forgive me because we hoped to spend the rest of our lives together. I love her so much, and I hope she understands that she means the world to me. The same goes for all of you. Don't forget about me."
His eye begins closing, and his heart is no longer beating. The lovers panicked. They keep telling him to wake up, but no answer, not even a cheery laugh. Misa takes her hands away from Kakashi and looks at them. His blood strained her hands.
A cry of misery echoed across the village.
Sasuke witnessed the anguish that she was experiencing. He stands up to go over and bring Misa solaceβif that's ever going to last. He holds her to his chest as she releases all of her grief. Tears were streaming from his face as well.
Not to mention, a red flower-like shape appears on the surface of his black orbs.

Being able to unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan was both good and bad. Sasuke wouldn't expect his sensei's death to bring him agony. He looks down at his precious love weeping in his arms. The raven gritted his teeth, "We're going to put an end to this, Misa." His anger seeps through his words.
After saying that, she stops crying and separates from the hug. Misa wipes her tears with her sleeve and looks at her hands again. She begins remembering those beautiful memories. Kakashi came off as a mysterious man who was hard to read, like an open book. He tried hiding his past from his team because he didn't want them to experience the same thing. So, he had his students learn to cherish the significant ones.
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Misa adored Kakashi when he started unveiling his true self. A lone wolf who became well-loved by many.
"I'm with you on that one, Sasuke-kun."
She gives him the most infuriating expression.
The Uchiha grabs both of her grimy hands, "I know that promises are meant to break sometimes, but promise you'll never give up on me." He looks at Misa with a grave face. "Of course, I won't." She didn't think about it for a minute. She answered so confidently. However, Sasuke likes the sound of that.
As soon as he approves of Misa, a white slug with blue streaks approaches. "Thank goodness you are alright, Misa-sama." It spoke in a gentle voice.
The Akiyama's face spreads a smile. "It seems to me that Tsunade-sama is fine as well." She can tell by her master's summon. Katsuyu has been providing defense and messaging Tsunade about the results of the villagers. Sasuke lets go of her hands and analyze the slug. Orochimaru told him three animals are devoted to Sannins. He can depict Katsuyu as a kinder and subservient summon.
"Yes, indeed. We also got a description of one of the enemies, according to Choji-sama." The slug disclosed a huge announcement.
Sasuke and Misa reacted in shock. They desperately asked Katsuyu to explain all of it. She told them about Pain's appearance, magnetic forces, and repelling every Ninjutsu. In essence, he is an unstoppable shinobi.
Once hearing enough information, Misa stood up and saw the Akatsuki members trying to dominate the Leaf ninjas. Sasuke comes to her side and sees it too. He tells a statement.
"They may be powerful, but eventually, they will learn who they are messing with."
